The People Behind BOCCI

Rodger has been part of the Bocci team since 1996 and began his journey here working alongside owner Tracey Bocci before becoming a stylist. With 30 years at Bocci, he brings extensive experience to his work and specializes in women’s gray coverage and gray blending, men’s cuts and color, and Keratin treatments. Rodger’s long-standing experience and well-rounded skill set allow him to create customized results for a wide range of clients.

Cathy has been part of the Bocci team since 1998, bringing prior salon experience with her when she joined, and has been in the beauty industry for 43 years. She is a color specialist and is certified in Keratin Complex treatments. Cathy is known for her experience, positive energy, and welcoming personality, and her clients appreciate both her skill and the upbeat experience she brings to each appointment. Her long-standing background and client-focused approach help her create personalized results for every client.

Julie has been part of the Bocci team since 1998. Early in her career, she worked alongside many of the talented stylists who helped shape Bocci from the beginning, and the inspiration and mentoring she received continue to influence her work today. While she enjoys working with hair color and finding the right tone and depth to flatter each guest, Julie especially specializes in haircuts. She takes pride in creating balanced, personalized looks that help each client feel their best.

Rose has been part of the Bocci team since 1998, bringing prior salon experience with her when she joined. She specializes in Keratin smoothing treatments, curly hair, and a full range of hair color services. Rose’s long-standing experience and versatile skill set help her create customized results for a wide variety of clients.

Kelly has been part of the Bocci team since 1999 and began her journey here working alongside owner Tracey Bocci before becoming a stylist. She offers a range of hair services with a focus on color, highlighting, and personalized haircuts. Kelly’s years of experience and steady approach help her create looks that feel polished, flattering, and easy to wear.

Kerri has been part of the Bocci team since 2000, bringing prior salon experience with her when she joined. She specializes in women’s gray coverage and gray blending, men’s cuts, and a full range of color services. Kerri’s experience and well-rounded skill set allow her to create customized results for clients looking for both maintenance and transformation.

Sarah has been part of the Bocci team since 2000 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She is also a Bocci Education Director and specializes in precision cuts, styling, editorial looks, event hair, and natural multidimensional color. Sarah was recognized as a Michigan Hairdresser of the Year runner-up, reflecting her creativity and experience in the industry. Her well-rounded background and eye for detail help her create polished, personalized results for each client.

Cara has been part of the Bocci team since 2001 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in dimensional bright blondes and natural, low-maintenance color. Cara is known for creating fresh, flattering looks that feel effortless and easy to maintain.

Karen has been part of the Bocci team since 2001, bringing 36 years of industry experience with her when she joined. She specializes in personalized haircuts, color services, and styling, with a focus on helping each client look and feel their best. Karen is known for the care and attention she brings to her work, along with the lasting relationships she has built over the years. For her, one of the most rewarding parts of the industry is helping clients feel confident while creating connections that go far beyond the chair.

Karrie has been part of the Bocci team since she first joined the salon at age 16, starting out as a salon assistant before attending beauty school and growing into her role as a stylist. She began her journey at Bocci in 2001 and has been behind the chair since 2004. Karrie specializes in Great Lengths hair extensions, color, and blonding services. She also serves as a salon educator, sharing her knowledge and experience with others on our team. Her long history with Bocci and well-rounded skill set allow her to create customized results for a wide range of clients.

Laura has been part of the Bocci team since 2001 and brings 34 years of industry experience to her role as a stylist. Throughout her career, she has been deeply involved in education, serving as a Bocci salon educator from 2001 to 2007 and again from 2016 to 2023, while mentoring more than 100 apprentice and newly licensed hairdressers over the past 25 years. Laura has also worked as a brand educator for TIGI Bed Head and Kemon USA, and has completed advanced cutting and color training both nationally and internationally through Toni & Guy, TIGI Academy, and Kemon. She specializes in advanced cutting and coloring techniques and is certified in Bellami K-Tips extensions. Laura’s accomplishments include being named Michigan Hairdresser of the Year in 2006, along with recognition in editorial, formal styling, and two Color Trophy awards. A graduate of Oakland University with a Bachelor of Arts degree, she has also completed Vidal Sassoon cutting training. Stephanie C. has been part of the Bocci team since 2002 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She offers a variety of cutting, color, and styling services, bringing years of experience to her work behind the chair. Stephanie’s long-standing career at Bocci allows her to create personalized looks tailored to each client’s style and needs.

Chelsea has been part of the Bocci team since 2004 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in color touch-ups, brunette shades, natural-looking blondes, bridal hair, and event styling. Chelsea’s experience and well-rounded skill set allow her to create polished, personalized looks for both everyday wear and special occasions.

Erica C. has been part of the Bocci team since 2004 and began her journey here working alongside owner Tracey Bocci before becoming a stylist. She serves as Bocci’s Education Director and is actively involved in training future Bocci stylists through the Assistant Program. Erica is a Great Lengths Extension Technician and color specialist. Her experience, leadership, and technical background allow her to create personalized results while also helping guide the next generation of stylists at Bocci.

Christie has been part of the Bocci team since 2005, bringing prior salon experience with her when she joined. She specializes in a wide range of hair color and cutting techniques, allowing her to create customized looks for each client. Christie’s experience, versatility, and attention to detail help her deliver polished results tailored to each guest’s style and needs.

Deana has been part of the Bocci team since 2005, bringing prior salon experience with her when she joined. She specializes in dimensional color for blondes and brunettes, blended highlights, and natural-looking gray coverage. Deana also offers customized haircuts for both short and long hair, along with styling tailored to curly hair. Her experience and versatility allow her to create polished, personalized results for a wide range of clients.

Shannon has been part of the Bocci team since 2005, bringing prior salon experience with her when she joined. She is certified in Bellami extensions and specializes in hair color, with a particular love for creating rich, dimensional red tones. Shannon’s experience and color-focused approach help her create customized results that are tailored to each client.

Tanya is a highly experienced hair stylist with over 26 years in the industry. Known for her expertise in Great Lengths extensions since 2004, she also brings 25 years of experience as a makeup artist. Tanya has been a Bocci stylist since 2005, offering a well-rounded skill set to enhance each guest’s beauty experience.

Jessica has been part of the Bocci team since 2006, bringing prior salon experience with her when she joined. She specializes in color, natural-looking blondes, lived-in blonde services, and is certified in Klix hair extensions. Jessica is especially known for her work with curly hair, along with her ability to create customized color and blonde looks that suit each client’s style and texture. Her experience, technique, and detail-focused approach allow her to create personalized results for every client.

Sara G. has been part of the Bocci team since 2008 and brings years of experience to her role as a stylist. She offers a variety of cutting, color, and styling services, with a focus on creating looks that feel personalized and wearable. Sara’s experience and attention to detail help her create results that leave clients feeling confident and cared for.

Alisha has been part of the Bocci team since 2012 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. In addition to her work behind the chair, she also offers hair extension services. Alisha brings a well-rounded approach to her work, helping clients achieve customized looks that add beauty, versatility, and confidence.

Andrea has been part of the Bocci team since 2012 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She is certified in the Bellami sew-in weft extension method and specializes in AirTouch coloring, blondes, and balayage. Andrea combines advanced training with a detail-focused approach for each client.

Gabrielle, known as Elle, has been part of the Bocci team since 2012 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She is certified in Bellami extensions, with expertise in the Bellami sewn-in weft method. Elle also specializes in bridal and event hair, giving her clients polished, customized looks for special occasions. Her experience and attention to detail help her create results that feel both beautiful and personalized.

Angelica has been part of the Bocci team since 2013 and began her journey here through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in cuts, color, and highlighting, and also offers bridal and event hairstyling. In addition to her work behind the chair, Angelica is an experienced airbrush makeup artist. Her well-rounded skill set allows her to help clients look and feel their best for both everyday wear and special occasions.

Gina has been part of the Bocci team since 2013 and began her journey at Bocci working alongside owner Tracey Bocci before becoming a stylist. She is a color educator and blonding specialist, and holds certifications in L’Oréal Balayage color and Master Invisible Bead Extensions. Gina is also a Kerastase Ambassador. Her advanced training and experience allow her to create customized, polished results for clients looking for beautiful color and extension services.

Rena has been part of the Bocci team since 2014 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in short hair and transformative color services, creating looks that feel fresh, flattering, and tailored to each client. In addition to her work behind the chair, Rena also serves as Bocci’s Assistant Program Coordinator, helping guide and support the next generation of stylists.

As a hair stylist since 2007 and part of the Bocci team since 2014, Stephanie Baurhenn specializes in advanced cutting and coloring. She believes that your hair is your best accessory and strives to enhance your confidence and radiance. Her commitment to professional development through classes ensures she remains at the forefront of beauty trends.

With over 40 years of experience and a background as a former salon owner, Beth specializes in perms, blonding, gray coverage, and gray blending services for women transitioning to their natural gray. She also offers women’s haircuts, with a particular strength in shorter styles. She is passionate about supporting women beyond hair, creating a welcoming space for open conversations around wellness, hair loss, and hormonal changes. Her goal is to help every client feel confident, understood, and beautiful at every stage of life.

Emily has been part of the Bocci team since 2015 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in seamless color and bright blondes, and is certified in Bellami extensions. Emily combines experience with a detail-focused approach to create customized, polished results for each client.

Andrea Van has been part of the Bocci team since 2016 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in dimensional bright blondes and natural, low-maintenance color. Andrea is also certified in multiple Bellami hair extension methods, giving her clients added options for length, volume, and transformation. Her experience, technical skill, and eye for detail help her create polished, personalized results for every client.

Mary has been part of the Bocci team since 2017 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She is certified in Bellami Volume Weft extensions and specializes in hair color, including highlights, full blonding, dimensional color, gray blending, and low-maintenance natural styles. Mary brings a thoughtful, personalized approach to her work, helping clients achieve color that fits both their look and lifestyle.

Christopher has been part of the Bocci team since 2018 and brings decades of industry experience to his role as a stylist, extension specialist, and trichologist. He has been a hairstylist since 1993 and owned his own salon for 13 years before joining Bocci. Christopher specializes in hair extensions and works closely with clients experiencing hair loss, combining his background in styling with his knowledge of scalp and hair health. He is a member of the World Trichology Society and is certified in both Bellami and Great Lengths hair extensions. Throughout his career, Christopher has also held respected education and platform roles within the industry. He served as Regional Education Director for the TIGI Chicago region, worked as a national platform artist alongside Tracey Bocci, and spent several years working at New York Fashion Week. His experience, advanced training, and well-rounded skill set allow him to create personalized results for clients seeking both beauty and hair loss solutions.

Karla has been part of the Bocci team since 2018 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in blonding and brings a creative approach to cuts and color. Karla enjoys helping clients express their personal style, whether they are looking for something current, bold, or polished.

Meg has been part of the Bocci team since 2019 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She is certified in Invisible Bead Extensions and Bellami extensions. Meg specializes in natural-looking, lived-in color, blonding services, precision men’s cuts, and curly hair. She also offers bridal and event styling, helping clients achieve the perfect look for special occasions. Her well-rounded skill set and attention to detail allow her to create personalized results that help clients look and feel their best.

Caroline is the owner of Caroline’s Alternative Hair Solutions at Bocci and brings 35 years of experience in the beauty industry, including both styling and salon management. As a licensed cosmetologist, she is a certified non-surgical hair replacement and hair loss specialist for both men and women, with a focus on thinning hair, healthy hair care, and custom human hair toppers and wigs. Caroline is also a Certified Trichology Representative through Capilia Head First, specializing in scalp health and healthy hair growth. In addition, she is a Redken Certified Principle Based Design Educator with advanced training in hair cutting and coloring techniques. Her experience and specialized knowledge allow her to provide personalized solutions for clients seeking both beauty and confidence.

Renee has been part of the Bocci team since 2021 and has been a licensed cosmetologist since 2005, graduating from David Pressley School of Cosmetology. In addition to her work as a stylist, she is one of Bocci’s non-surgical hair restoration specialists. Renee holds certifications in non-surgical hair replacement through On-Rite, alternative hair and wigs through Jon Renau, and Capilia scalp treatments. In 2026, she also earned certification through Maggie’s Wigs 4 Kids of Michigan, allowing her to work with children experiencing hair loss. Her training, experience, and compassionate approach help her support clients with both everyday hair goals and specialized hair restoration needs.

Zoey joined the beauty industry in 2019 and became part of the Bocci team in 2022, beginning her journey here working alongside owner Tracey Bocci before becoming a stylist. She specializes in color, lived-in dimensional color, and blonding services. With a well-rounded education and a creative approach, Zoey enjoys customizing each look to fit the individual client. She is passionate about creating not only beautiful hair, but also genuine connections, while helping clients express their personal style with confidence.

Carolina has been part of the Bocci team since 2023 and began her journey here in our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in makeup artistry, event styling, custom hair color, and precision men’s cuts. Carolina brings creativity and attention to detail to each service, helping her clients achieve a look that fits both their style and their needs.

Erica D. has been part of the Bocci team since 2023 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in precision cuts, vibrant color transformations, and blonding services. Erica brings creativity and a fresh eye to her work, helping clients achieve looks that feel polished, modern, and personalized.

Olivia has been part of the Bocci team since 2023 and began her journey at Bocci through our Assistant Program before becoming a stylist. She specializes in blonding and lightening services, natural-looking color, gray coverage, and expert styling. Olivia has also completed extended advanced education in hair color and cutting through Wella, L’Oréal, and Redken. She brings a fresh, modern approach to her work, creating polished, personalized results for each client.

Somer joined the Bocci team in fall 2023 after graduating from Elevate Salon Institute in 2023. She trained alongside Erica C. and continues to build on that foundation in her work behind the chair. Somer specializes in blonding, lived-in color, and color transformations, and has also completed extended advanced education in hair color and cutting through Wella and L’Oréal. She enjoys creating customized looks that feel fresh, modern, and tailored to each client.

Emma has been part of the Bocci team since December 2024 after graduating from Douglas J Aveda in November 2024. She specializes in customized color, lived-in looks, and fashion shades that reflect each client’s personal style. Emma also enjoys creating dimensional blondes and brunettes, along with soft, layered haircuts that enhance movement and shape. Her goal is to give every client a look that feels effortless, modern, and uniquely their own.

Julia has completed Bocci’s Assistant Program after training alongside Erica Crawley and is now beginning her career as a stylist. She specializes in bouncy blowouts, shag styling, highlights, lived-in color, vivid color, and cutting. Julia is certified in Wella color and the K18 repair system, and brings the hands-on training and advanced education from our Assistant Program into her work behind the chair.

Ashley has been part of the Bocci team since 2025 and brings 20 years of industry experience to her role as a stylist. She is Brazilian Blowout Certified and has advanced color training with Wella. Ashley specializes in color correction, custom color, dimensional balayage, and natural-looking color. Her experience and technical background allow her to create personalized results tailored to each client.
